On September 4, 2014 peerScholar was showcased at the MADLab Tech Fair at the University of Toronto, St.George campus. Faculty and students of the University were on hand to see a live demo of the online peer-assessment tool and to hear about the research behind it. Thanks for coming out and visiting our booth!
On September 4, 2014 peerScholar was featured in an article on the MindShareLearning.com blog. The article highlights the use of peerScholar which was used by Canadian students who were part of the 2014 Global Teenager Project. This year the project focused on Children's Charter Rights and was completed by students from multiple countries around the world. peerScholar allowed students to collaborate and share their viewpoints quickly and easily.
Steve Joordens got the opportunity to sit down with Steve Paikin of the TVO show The Agenda. He explained a new way of teaching university students the art of critical thinking and creativity using peerScholar.
